4. If the sound post is too thick, or F-hole narrow: First insert the tool inside the violin, then push the Sound Post inside the clamp.
5. Maneuver the handle so that the sound post is close to the highest part around violin center.
6.Make sure the Tool Handle is absolutely vertical relative to violin body. Turn the handle counterclockwise, thus bringing the Sound Post towards its intended position.
7. When the Sound Post gets to the right position it should jam between top and bottom violin plates. Turning the handle counterclockwise will set the post

8. Reset the bridge, tighten strings to secure the sound post in position. Turn slightly counterclockwise, pull the tool away by about 1/4 inch. This will free the tool.
9. Now the tool may be withdrawn
10. Check the alignment. Sound Post maker is visible and pointing to side.

CAUTION
 1. The tool is made of metal, thus extra care must be taken to avoid scratching the violin.
 2.The spring clamp is made of very thin material. Open the clamp sufficiently to introduce or remove the sound post. Excessive bending can deform the spring.
  READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE TOOL
1. Introduce the sound post into Clamp. Mark the bottom of the sound post at the shorter side, facing the violin side.Double-click here to edit the text.
2. Align the sound post above its intended position. At the same time align the wide part of the handle above the point over the F-hole. Turn the Sound post such that the mark points towards violin side.
3. Gently slide the tool with sound post through widest part of the F-hole. If the sound post is too thick skip this step and go to step 4 instead.
